Space Camp

A middle-grade sci-fi adventure about competition, friendship, and discovering that space camp might be preparing you for a lot more than space.

Purple hand drawn rocket ship flies over a city

Thirteen-year-old Violet thought Space Camp would be a chance to prove she belonged among the best young space enthusiasts in the country. But at the Hawthorne Institute, the simulations are harder, the competition is fiercer, and winning might mean more than anyone is telling her.

Alongside her new teammates, Violet is thrown into a series of increasingly extreme challenges designed to test whether the cadets have what it takes to survive beyond Earth. But as the competition unfolds, Violet begins to suspect Hawthorne isn’t simply looking for the best team.

The question isn’t just who will win. It’s what they’re really being trained for.
